Instructor's Objectives

This is the first lab course for the students enrolled in Professional Master's Program with computer systems security focus. This course covers three core topics: penetration testing, web security and cloud security. The course lectures will provide students with the background needed to complete the hands-on weekly assignments. Students need a computer with reliable Internet connection. For some assignments your computer should be able to run three VMs (Kali, Windows XP and Windows 7) at the same time. In addition to the weekly assignments, there will be three in-class quizzes, two group projects and three tasks in the course. The details will be discussed in the first week of the semester.
